Usha Sarma, M.D.

Biography
Dr. Sarma is currently a Clinical Instructor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Repoductive Biology for Harvard Medical School.

She is on staff at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Sarma is one of the founding members of Boston Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Internship/Residency
She completed an Ob/Gyn residency in England in 1988 and was awarded the MRCOG degree by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, London, UK.

Dr. Sarma subsequently worked for several years in Sweden as an attending obstetrician and gynecologist before moving to the USA in 1992. She then completed her second residency program in Ob/Gyn at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in 1999.

Medical School
Dr. Sarma received her medical degree from Andhra University, India in 1979.

American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology

Special Interests
Dr. Sarma has special interest in providing gynecologcal and infertility care for her patients. She is also fluent in Swedish and many Indian languages like Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Konkani.
